The holidays are meant to be a time full of joy and excitement. Sadly, this is not the case for many families in need, especially single moms.
Empower Her Holiday is different from other Sub for Santa events because instead of us deciding what she and her kids need and purchasing gifts for the family, the single moms are gifted Amazon gift cards.
100% of the ticket sales will go toward purchasing gift cards for nominated women and their families.
With the donations collected at the kick off events, each nominated family will receive a $100 gift card per family member, up to 5 family members (i.e. A family of 4 will receive $400 and a family of 7 will receive $500).
EMPOWER HER HOLIDAY
Letter Writing
We are inviting you to come join us December 3rd to learn about the women and write them letters of love and encouragement with these gift cards to let her feel seen and know that we are here to support her. (2:00pm-4:00pm)
This event is free and open to the community! Bring your kids, parents, significant others, and friends to gather and empower women.
"She is a brand new mom, her partner was recently unexpectedly incarcerated and she has been put in a situation of taking care of everything on her own. She is a truly incredible woman with such a beautiful heart, and is the kind of woman that would help anyone if she has the means. I know she could use some extra help during this holiday season."
"She is a fierce woman and loving mother of 5 who lost her husband last year to an accidental overdose. She was his rock supporting him through recovery and now she is THE pillar of strength for her children."
"She is a beautiful soul and was just diagnosed with breast cancer. She's a single mama of 4 and is currently trying to raise money for her natural treatments she's pursing. I'm gathering as many donations as possible to help her with the oil side. I would love to see the stress of these holidays not be a thing and her Christmas taken care of for her."
